Siouxzi Connor is a Sydney-born writer and artist based in Berlin. A former research fellow of the Berlin Institute for Cultural Inquiry, Siouxzi creates provocative work in literature and film, exploring ritual, tradition, ecology and female sexuality.
She is a highly experienced conceptual copywriter, creating long and short-form copy for TV, radio and web for top commercial clients.
Siouxzi works part-time as the Campaigns and Communications Officer for Little Sun, the solar energy project of Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson.
Siouxzi’s current project with uferlos is creating an aural-visual landscape for the multidisciplinary project ‘In the Dark, Dark Room‘ (2017) which began with academic research at the ICI, evolved into the novel ‘Our Little Wooden House in the Forest’ and will soon be included as text and image extracts in ‘Little Houses, Big Forests (desire is no light thing)’, the anthology book to be published in January 2017 by Repeater Books.
